I am a seasoned canner in both pressure canning and steam/water bath canning. Additionally I teach many canning classes through out Sheboygan County. Whether you are looking to hand off your harvest to be processed, need an extra hand in the kitchen or seeking a mentor, I can help with that.

Have you ever considered beekeeping as a hobby? It can be beneficial in a lot of ways. To name a few, bees can improve the pollination of your garden and orchard, you can harvest pollen and honey, and you can help support the bee population.
Beekeeping doesn’t just have to be honeybees either. Mason bees are a great bee to have around. They are robust pollinators, even better than honeybees, and don’t require any hive care.
I’ve maintained hives of honeybees, colonies of mason bees and leafcutter bees and welcomed bounds of bumble bees. I’ve worked with school students to install observation hives, installed and maintained hives for peers and businesses, and mentored many through the Sheboygan County Beekeepers Association.
If you are interested in help with a hive inspection, finding a mentor or looking to have a hive installed at your place or business or school, I can help you with that.

Would you like some support and mentoring with your first harvest and butchering or just need another experienced hand to help? I have harvested and butchered chicken flocks as small as 4 and as large as 40 and beyond. Chances are I can help you through your first or 100th chicken harvest. Reach out to talk through what your needs are.
